Stephanie Point is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Point 2 Point Global Security, Inc. and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Steph started Point 2 Point after 25 years of combined law enforcement and executive security management experience.
Steph served as a Police Officer and Detective for the Bell Gardens Police Department in Los Angeles, California for over 10 years. During her time as a detective, Steph worked in several specialized investigative units such as forgery, fraud, robbery and homicide. After honorably retiring from a service related injury, Steph worked with several global security companies prior to starting Point 2 Point Global Security, Inc. in 2004.
Today, Point 2 Point has more than 1000 employees and over 8500 Off Duty Officers with offices throughout the US, as well as the corporate office located in Dallas, TX. In 2010 and 2013, Steph was awarded the “50 Fastest Growing Woman Owned Companies in North America” by the Women Presidents Organization and American Express Open. In 2011, Steph was named one of Ernst & Young LLP’s (EY) 2011 Winning Women Entrepreneurs of the Year.
Steph attended the University of Wisconsin–Stout and the University of Minnesota where she pursued a degree in Pre-Law and Psychology.
Steph, along with the Point 2 Point team, are actively involved in the WBEC Southwest, WBENC, and Ernst & Young Winning Women. Steph has a long term passion and commitment for the Dallas Can and Texas Can Academies. Stephanie is also a Board Member and advocate for Captain Hope’s Kids.
Shelly Anderson serves as the Executive Vice President of Point 2 Point Global Security, Inc. She joined Point 2 Point in March, 2013 after a twenty year career with Dallas, TX based, Energy Future Holdings (EFH). Shelly excels in establishing relationships and refining operations for maximum efficiencies. Shelly leads in the strategic development of Point 2 Point operational structures and solutions. An expert in organizational proficiencies, Shelly’s team is the pillar of day to day functionality at Point 2 Point.
While at EFH, Shelly worked in the Corporate Security Department. She began her career as an investigator for EFH researching internal criminal and code of conduct violations, and was promoted in 2004 to Manager of Corporate Security where she led all corporate security strategies. Developing policies and procedures, investigations, executive protection, crisis management, and physical security all became part of Shelly's repertoire. Supporting the security needs of critical infrastructure has been a passion in Shelly’s long and distinguished career. Prior to her role at EFH, Shelly was a District Parole Officer for the State of Texas specializing in revocation proceedings.
Shelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland-College Park. Well respected in the industry and in the community, Shelly has served on numerous committees with: local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
William joined P2P as the SVP/CHRO. He brings 20 years of professional experience in Human Resources Management, Employee Relations, Operations, and Labor & Employment Law. His diverse industry experience in manufacturing and retail; along with his proven business acumen, and strong leadership skills have helped William create efficiencies, drive profitable sales growth, and achieve business goals.
Prior to joining the P2P team, William, a former US Army Reserves Officer worked for Lowe’s, Eaton Corporation and Ford Motor Company where he began his career in production operations management at an engine assembly plant. Since then, he has effectively performed as an attorney and HR generalist in both field and corporate office assignments and at every level from individual contributor to vice president.William has successfully launched performance management, leadership development , employee engagement, and succession planning initiatives and incentive compensation programs.
William holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He received his Master’s degree in Labor and Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Political Science and Economics, both from Ohio State University.
Derin Dutchover serves in the position of Vice President of Operations and Business Development. He leads the Regional Operating organizations. Derin brings over 25 years of security experience to the Point 2 Point Executive Team.
He has developed security programs for multiple Fortune 1000 Companies in the following sectors: financial institutions, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, transportation, industrial and food processing. Prior to joining Point 2 Point Derin worked for a large security services corporation as their Vice President of Physical Security. During his tenure, he had oversight of the Physical Security and Investigative Divisions employing approximately 2,000 Security Officers in 16 offices servicing over 250 customers.
Following his time there, Derin spent 22 years with another national security services organization where he started as a Security Officer after his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. He quickly moved through the ranks to the position of Area Vice President from Scheduler, Field Supervisor, Branch Manager, Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales, completing his tenure as Area Vice President for Arizona. While serving as the Area Vice President he had full P&L responsibility for the State of Arizona which employed 1,800 Security Officers, servicing over 150 customers.
While in the Marines he served with Security Force Battalion Fleet Marine Force Atlantic as a team leader. Derin has completed numerous training courses in security and related fields including Physical Security, Risk Assessment, Investigations and Executive Protection.
Dwight joined Point 2 Point in 2015 and serves as the Vice President of Business Development. Dwight brings over 25 years of sales and business development experience within emerging high growth, mature and competitive business markets in a variety of industries. Dwight’s strong entrepreneurial spirit will be a perfect fit with the culture already in place at Point 2 Point.
Drawing from his deep experience in recruiting, training and developing successful sales teams, he will guide the broader Business Development team in process improvements to increase efficiency and improve profitability. He will also help drive the overall business development strategy for Point 2 Point, ensuring delivery of sales growth targets and organizational goals.
Dwight graduated from the University of Texas where he was a football letterman and coach. An avid sports fan, he is actively involved in coaching his son’s competitive, select baseball team.
Eric Love serves as Point 2 Point’s Vice President of Training and Operations. He is passionate about teaching, and sets himself apart by engaging the student and challenging them using skill, real life experiences, and non-conventional “outside the box” instruction. He is an outstanding mentor to our officers and the exemplar of the Point 2 Point values.
With 25 years of Law Enforcement experience, Eric is a Licensed TCOLE Police Instructor and conducts training for Point 2 Point Security Officers Level II, Level III and Personal Protection Level Officer Level IV at our Arlington, Texas training facility. He also conducts Continuing Education classes for all officer licenses.
Eric holds numerous licenses and certifications including: Instructor Self Defense-Weapon Retention; Instructor CPI- Non Violent Crisis-Critical Situation; Instructor American Red Cross- CPR-AED-First Aid; Licensed Private Investigator; Licensed Level IV-PPO officer; Licensed Level 3 (Armed Guard) and Licensed Security Salesperson. His education includes: ASIS Personal Protection Graduate, Council of Governments Graduate-Police Instructor, Weatherford College Graduate-Police Instructor, and Texas A&M Extension Graduate-Arlington Texas-Police Academy 1989.
During his law enforcement and security career, Eric has received 19 separate commendations, a Life Saving Bar in 2001 and he was the recipient of the prestigious Secret Service award in 2012.
Eric describes himself as a father, husband, friend and mentor. He loves life and gives back to his community. Eric believes in the motto “TCB” Taking care of Business!
Cindy Blevins serves as Vice President of Support Services managing nationwide key account operations, new account transition, field training execution and development, OnPoint technology integration, and leads support services which include customer service, compliance, and quality assurance. Cindy also serves as Point 2 Point’s qualified agent and is responsible for the compliance of all company licenses.
Cindy joined Point 2 Point team in 2006 after a thirteen year career in the food industry with TIC Gums, Baltimore Spice, and Pepsi Bottling Group. At TIC Gum, she was an integral part of the development and implementation of ISO 9001 and held various management positions, including Quality Control Supervisor. During her tenure with Point 2 Point, Cindy has played an integral part in many aspects of the business including overall responsibilities of payroll, AP/AR, served as the in-house technical IT support, and provided training to officers throughout the U.S. She has been credited for growing Point 2 Point’s largest clients starting with one location and winning numerous additional locations and accounts along the way.
Cindy attended Towson State University, studying Biology, with a concentration in Microbiology and emphasis in Chemistry. She is an active member of the Women of the Moose and enjoys four-wheeling, camping, NASCAR and boating.
